Back in the Saddle!
(with a little help from her friends)

Too much work and not enough play is a very bad thing, as evidenced by Sharon's involuntary two-month sabbatical from the barn due to a debilitating neck/back injury in early November.

We're happy to report that January 12th, Sharon was able to start riding again -- and the smile above (after a fantastic work-out on Hannah) says it all.

A HUGE THANK YOU from Sharon to Dr. Matthews at Champion Health for getting her back on track - pun intended - and back in the saddle (as well as to Khokan Fulop at Institute 3E for introducing her in the first place)!

Enjoying Island Life
(the people, the culture and the scenery....of sorts!)

Mitch, Lisa and Aaron are enjoying island life, including the sun, the surf....and other assorted beach distractions! Shown above, Lisa and Aaron enjoy a trip to the Maui Ocean Center, while Mitch and son, Sean, are distracted by scenery of another sort. Chuckles Lisa, "Mitch feels it has been a great beach day if he sees at least one thong!!"

Practice Makes Perfect
(and sometimes it makes $ too!)

Capping off what was already a banner year, owner/amateur Roberta Herring opted to ride her gelding, MK Highlander, against the professionals in the Open Trail class at the CAHC Christmas Show. When all was said and done, Roberta and Highlander high-scored 2 out of the 3 jackpot obstacles, earning $400 in bonus prize money!

In the 5 years Roberta has been training at Team Troxler, she's grown tremendously as a rider and has earned the respect, not only of her trainers and peers, but more importantly she's earned the respect of her talented, tricky gelding, Highlander - who can instantly and accurately gauge the mettle of any rider. This year in the Trail Division, Roberta and Highlander earned Top Ten honors in Scottsdale, Reserve Champion honors at Region 8, and won 2 out of the 3 jackpot obstacles at the CAHC Christmas Show. From everyone at Team Troxler, CONGRATULATIONS, ROBERTA, ON AN OUTSTANDING SHOW SEASON!
